34.   Clerk’s Report

LCC have responded to the Planning and Highways request for grounds maintenance to the roundabout in Market Deeping Town Centre.  LCC have confirmed that it has been added to their schedule and it will be cut three times a year, the contractor could not provide a specific date.  It is not deemed a safety hazard and therefore they will not be taking immediate action.

LCC confirmed that the sponsor a roundabout scheme is available and being run by CP Media.  The website address for further details should the Committee wish to pursue is www.cpmedia.co.uk

The purchase of two interactive speed devices (DF11 MCB model) was discussed and approved at Full Council on 14 July.  Further clarification from LCC is being sought from street lighting and as soon as we hear back from LCC we can proceed with the purchase.

It was agreed that Councillors did not wish to pursue the sponsor a roundabout scheme.
