Market Deeping Town Council – Planning and Highways Committee
Minutes of a meeting of Market Deeping Town Council’s Planning and Highways Committee held on Wednesday 6th October 2021 at 7pm. Cllr Shelton presided over Cllr Mrs Redshaw, Cllr Miss Moran and Cllr Hembrow. The Clerk was also in attendance.
57. Chairman’s Welcome
The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting.
58. Apologies for Absences
Apologies for absence were received prior to the meeting from Cllr Yarham, Cllr Davis and Cllr Brookes.
59. To Receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011
There was no declaration of interests.
60. Minutes from the meeting dated Wednesday 1 September 2021
It was proposed by Cllr Shelton and seconded by Cllr Hembrow and RESOLVED unanimously that the minutes of the meeting be signed as a true and accurate record. The Clerk was instructed to sign the minutes on behalf of the Chair.
61. Clerk’s Report
Members had received a copy of the report prior to the meeting.
Cllr Shelton advised that he would email the Conservation Officer and ask her to attend the committee meeting in November.
The committee reiterated that the cameras should be ordered.

The Deputy Clerk had provided members with a report prior to the meeting. Cllr Shelton asked members if there were any comments on the omega report, and there were none.

67. For members to receive an update on the refurbishment work to the Council’s bus stops
Cllr Hembrow reported that all work was now complete. Cllr Miss Moran agreed to take photos and post them to Market Deeping Town Council’s Face book page. It was agreed that the photos should be outside the church and Towngate crossroads.
Conservation Area
68. For members to review any issues relating to the Conservation area.
A discussion took place regarding whether a meeting during the day or on Zoom would encourage attendance by the conservation officer. Cllr Shelton agreed to contact the officer.
69. For members to review any matters arising from the public session.
There were no issues to discuss.
There being no other business, Cllr Shelton thanked everybody for their attendance and closed the meeting at 8.05 pm. The next meeting of the Planning & Highways Committee will be held on Wednesday 3rd November 2021 at 7pm.
