Minutes of an Extra Ordinary Meeting of Market Deeping Town Council Held on Wednesday 19th June 2019 at 6.30pm at the Town Hall, Market Deeping

The Deputy Clerk and Mr Joshua Yarham were also in attendance.
48. Welcome by the Chairman
Cllr Miss Collins welcomed the members to the Extra Ordinary meeting of the Council.
49. Apologies for Absence
Apologies were received from Cllrs Broughton, Lester and Redshaw.
50. Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011
There were no declarations of interest.
51. For members to consider the application received for Co-Option to the Council
Cllr Miss Collins expressed thanks to Mr Joshua Yarham for his presence at the meeting and for his written submission supporting his application for Co-Option to the Council. Cllr Miss Collins invited members to pose questions to Mr Yarham regarding his written submission and a short discussion followed.
District Cllr Baxter entered the meeting at 6.40pm.
It was then proposed by Cllr Miss Moran and seconded by Cllr Mrs Sked that Mr Joshua Yarham be Co-Opted to the Town Council as the representative Councillor for the Swine’s Meadow Ward. Those in favour were Cllr Miss Collins, Cllr Hanson, Cllr Mrs Sked, Cllr Davis, Cllr Hembrow, Cllr Brookes, Cllr Miss Moran, Cllr Neilson and Cllr Shelton. There were no abstentions. It was therefore RESOLVED unanimously that Mr Joshua Yarham be the Town Councillor for the Swine’s Meadow Ward and the Declaration of Acceptance of Office form was duly signed and witnessed.
The Chairman thanked all members for attending and declared the meeting closed at 6.45pm. The next scheduled meeting of Full Council will be held on Wednesday 10th July 2019, in the Town Hall, Market Deeping.
